Productivity Tips New Bloggers/Influencers

So I’ve been at this influencer/blogger life since February and let me tell you it’s hard work!! With having a 9-5 its seriously tough to balance. I am no expert but I’m excited to share with you things I’ve learned so far.

1. Set Aside Time

Try your best to plan as much as possible. Set a specific day and time when you can plan out your content. I have a monthly content calendar, but I plan week by week. Each Sunday I pick out outfits, look at current pics I haven’t posted, come up with captions, plan photo shoots, and come up with blog concepts. Setting this time aside makes me feel more confident and prepared for the week ahead! There are a lot of great apps like Planoly to help you layout content.

2.Take Full Advantage of Photo shoots

So taking pictures has become a job at this point! Laying out outfits, doing hair and makeup can become exhausting. Therefore, the days I’m dressed up I try and take as many photos as possible. This will allow me to get more content. Even on days I meet with my photographer I’ll come home and take more pictures on my own. Also consider investing in a ring light to take great photos at home

3. Just Go With It

So a couple Sunday’s ago I pop on Instagram and find out it’s National Bikini Day! I had no idea. I had National Chocolate Day on my calendar, but not National Bikini Day! I thought about this cute bathing suit I had just gotten from Shein and knew I had to participate! I originally had something else planned to post that day, but this was something I felt would have greater engagement with my following. So yes plan things out, but be prepared to make changes if you can! Have fun and research these unconventional holidays! P.S. National Emoji Day is coming up!

4. Ask Questions

Don’t be afraid to ask fellow influencers how they create their content! A few weeks ago I saw an influencer create an animated story. It was very professional, neat, and fun. I simply reached out and she was more than happy to share the app she used. Don’t be afraid to ask questions. You’ll either get a simple yes or no. I’ve learned majority of influencers are more than happy to help. I know I am!

I hope these help my fellow influencers out there! Like I said I’m new to this so I’ll be sharing more as I learn.
