Where’s My Pot of Gold?

Y’all I’ll be 29 tomorrow, and I can’t believe I’m entering my last year of my twenties. So thankful for all the lessons and setbacks. In talking with many of my close friends who are beautiful, educated, loving, and all around amazing women everyone is asking where’s my pot of gold?!

Basically when will the time come when all your dreams and goals will manifest! Whether that be children, marriage, financial stability, dream job, etc. I’m here to tell you I am prime example of timing is everything. I know it gets tough, but know at the right time all things will fall into place.

I will give a personal example. In my early twenties I wanted to be married sooo badly! Unfortunately the relationship ended but looking back I’m so thankful that God saw what I wanted at the time I didn’t need. Honey I was a hot mess barely knew how to communicate my feelings and I was trying to be somebody’s wife. Know that just because you want something it doesn’t mean it will happen.

Even with me starting my blog. God saw fit for a time as now. Honestly with the pandemic and working from home I have been given the opportunity to really dedicate my time to my craft. Had I still been going into the office everyday and all the other distractions of life I would’ve made countless excuses. I literally have the confidence, drive, and resources now to make my dreams attainable.

I know it’s very hard to see others achieving the things you want but know your time is coming. When you understand time and season you envy no one. Be patient in the waiting, and while you’re waiting be your own rainbow and sunshine. I always say what is meant for me will never miss me. Just like the colors in a rainbow each color has its purpose and place leading to the pot of gold. Your pot is coming.
