I saw a meme that said when my kids ask me about 2020 I’m gone have to pour up a drink first. If this ain’t the truth hoooonnnnnneeeeeyyyy!! I think literally every month has outdone the next it’s been one thing after another.
I never considered myself to be much of a planner, but I would say I’m pretty organized. When I tell y’all all plans have gone out the window! Even in uncertainty, I have found great clarity. Clarity concerning my career, relationships, the world around me, brand, and my overall goals. Sometimes out of the blue life hits you in the craziest ways. I think we can all say January and February we were living our best lives then out of the blue we experienced lots of changes very quickly.
During this time it’s even more important to lean into your gifts and talents. Cultivate your gifts, feed your soul, and take each day as it comes. With all that has occurred, I honestly needed a pick-me-up something to make me feel like me! Sometimes the right piece of clothing can bring so much happiness and this dress did just that. I purchased this blue dress in February from Fashion to Figure, but Rona kept me from wearing it. This dress was literally love at first fit. The color, ruching, twist-front detail, and the off-the-shoulder screamed something I would wear. This is perfect for a date night. Your significant other will be mouth-wide-open drooling over you. This is exactly what I needed. I felt sooooo finnneee in this dress. I would highly recommend it.
I’ve said all this to say it’s been tough so much uncertainty can be overwhelming. I really advise you to pay attention to your needs and give yourself grace. Take it day-by-day. If you need to throw on a sexy dress and look good for yourself or significant other do it!
