Stepping in Style
So I will be 100% honest finding shoes is always the hardest part of an outfit for me! Ya girl wears an 11 and my feet are wide! So today I will be showcasing where I like to get shoes as someone who has wide feet! If you have wide or larger feet you know the struggle so we will get through this together! Here’s my list:
1. SmashShoes: I’m proud to share with you a female black-owned business that specializes in contemporary, on-trend shoes for women wearing US size 10 to 14. Subscribe to get email alerts because they sell out quickly! I’m wearing the Yaya over the knee boots in this fabulous snakeskin print pictured above!
2.Torrid: Not only does Torrid offer plus size clothing they offer wide width and larger size shoes! I would say their shoes oftentimes run big I wear an 11 and normally can get a 10.5 or 10 in their shoes. Very affordable and comfortable; the majority of my boots this winter came from Torrid! 3. JustFab: JustFab is a personalized shopping experience that gives you access to celebrity stylists and their hottest picks. You can pay a monthly membership to get shoes every month for a set price (or you can skip the month). They do carry 11’s and wides but honestly, the shoes have run a little too big so I size down! 4.Target: Today we are keeping it simple with Target! They do carry wides but mostly online, but you can find wides in-store! I buy a lot of my summer shoes at Target! Pictured wearing the tan wedge.
5. Lane Bryant: Not only does Lane Bryant carry plus size clothes they do carry extended shoe sizes and widths! I will say they are pretty much true to size not always the most contemporary, but you can find some options! (Pictured wearing the snakeskin print heels)
Honorable Mention for Wide Width Shoes:
Asos: Carry Wide shoes I have not personally tried.
Catos: I have bought wide-width shoes from Catos not always the best quality, but I have bought some flats for work!
