All Tied Up

So, we officially made it through the first 6 months of 2020! (pops imaginary bottle) We deserve a drink! How are y’all feeling? We have lived through some crazy times. I told somebody I can’t wait to tell my kids, “Do you know what we went through in 2020, you better be happy you can go to school!” Despite all that has happened I am still optimistic and excited about the future. A friend reminded me of how enthusiastic we were going into 2020 so ready for new adventures and opportunities. With all that has occurred we lost sight of those goals. Myself included, but on today July 1, 2020 I am doing a much-needed reboot. It is time to regain my focus and remember the goals I set in January are still attainable! So, let us revisit those goals and crush them in these last 6 months. Do not become so tied up in the woes of this world that you forget your purpose and your passion. Today we reset, recharge, and reconnect. Here are some of my goals:

1. Support at least 5 black businesses each month

2. Create a media kit

3. Post everyday consistently on Instagram

4. Develop more partnerships

5. Pitch to my favorite brands
